Serving the Homeless

Tuesday, February 3. We will be providing an everning meal and a place to stay (in our gym) for approximately 20 homeless people on Tuesday, February 3. We're going with a picnic theme for the meal this time. Please go to http://perfectpotluck.com to sign up (put "VCC" in the coordinator and password fields) and bring something you might bring to a picnic ... hot dogs, hamburgers, BBQ, brats, fried chicken, potato salad, macaroni salad, cole slaw, pork & beans, chips & dips, etc. Fruits and melons for dessert would be great too.

We need volunteers who can help set up at 5:30, serve the meal between 6:00-6:30 and assist with the worship service at 7:30 pm. For more information contact Larry Mann, 480-797-4439, or ActiveChristian@cox.net.

Compassion Ministry

Saturday, February 28, 10 am - 12 pm. We'll be meeting at the church at 10:00 am to travel and deliver groceries and clothes and pray for people in a poor area of our community.
